Installation problems with new versions of ARIS 10.0.20+

With new versions of ARIS (10.0.20+) installation problems may occur as follows: the installation of server components goes normally, but when components are run some of them cannot run correctly, freezing on the "STARTING" status or switching to the "FAILED" status (Fig. 1).

Problems can occur both on Windows OS and on Linux OS. One of the reasons of these problems can be an outdated version of the operating system. For example, ARIS 10.0.22 has official support of operating system versions indicated in Fig.2.

But according to our experience, it will be most likely impossible to install ARIS Server 10.0.20 and newer on old versions of Windows Server 2016. Thus, if you use not the most up-to-date version of the operating system and face problems installing ARIS 10.0.20 and newer versions, try to update your operating system before ARIS Server installation.
